Alex Pardee T-shirt Release and Zerofriends Pop Up Shop
Upper Playground is proud to feature the newest batch of t-shirts from Alex Pardee. Expressing his love for all things horror and otherworldly, Pardee’s four new designs feature his signature cast of freaky characters. To coincide with the launch, Alex Pardee will be taking over Upper Playground’s NYC retail store, as it becomes a Zerofriends pop up shop – a haven for all things Pardee.
The new collection is now available at all Upper Playground retail stores and online at the Upper Playground web store. The Zerofriends pop up shop will be open from January 30 – April 30, 2010.
At the grand opening on Saturday January 30, 2010, Zerofriends will be releasing a limited edition Alex Pardee print from his “Marrow” series of paintings. The prints measure 16” x 20” and is a giclée print on velvet cotton rag. The prints are limited to 50 and are signed and numbered by Alex himself.
Also at the opening, Alex will be doing a signing from 1PM – 3PM. The Zerofriends store is located at:

About Alex Pardee:
Alex Pardee’s unique style is one conceived through watching years of horror movies, writing graffiti and listening to gangster rap. His work best represents that of a circus sideshow cemetery. Final pieces are often brought to life by translating random shapes and colors into signs of torment and absurdity.
